Teri is a clinical counselor with over 26 years of experience providing Christian counseling services to individuals and couples. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Bible from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. In addition, she has a background in nursing, military life and teaching.

Teri has a collaborative counseling style reflecting a relationship focused approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral strategies. She counsels with a holistic focus and will encourage you to explore and build a deeper understanding of yourself and others, care for your physical well-being and develop a greater awareness of your relationship with God and His good purposes. While faith is the foundation for Teri’s services, she meets clients where they are at, while understanding their needs and empowers them to specific counseling goals.

Areas of care include telehealth services, premarital and marriage counseling (Prepare-Enrich and SYMBIS certified), anxiety, depression, divorce, infidelity, stress, grief, trauma, parenting and family concerns, blended family and spiritual issues.
