Jerilyn is a Licensed Marriage and Family Provider who has a love for learning, a passion for working with people, and believes there is healing power in a person’s story. She uses an integrative approach within the therapeutic environment which includes mindfulness skills, behavioral techniques, grief and trauma based approaches, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on drawing from the client’s strengths to help individuals become empowered by telling their story. Enjoying the outdoors, she also utilizes visuals from nature in the counseling environment. Jerilyn is grateful for all who have touched her life over the years.

After graduating with a degree in human services from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, she received her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Sioux Falls Seminary in South Dakota. Her experience spans 18 plus years and includes working with a diverse population including individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues such as anxiety, grief, depression, abuse, trauma, domestic violence, stress, relationship, communication and other areas as a client needs.

Jerilyn provides insurance based counseling services in person and via telehealth. She is licensed to serve clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Her specialties include: Anxiety, Anger, ADHD, Communication, Depression (including bipolar depression), stress, self-esteem and self-confidence, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Trauma, grief, PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress, Couple and Family Relationships, and parenting.
