Sherri Eichers, PSYD, LP

Sherri holds a Doctorate of Psychology degree from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology.

Sherri provides clinical supervision for Psy.D. and Ph.D. post-doctorates seeking Minnesota Board of Psychology licensure. She is also board certified for clinical supervision of persons seeking LPC/LPCC licensure. Additionally, Sherri specializes in providing clinical supervision and consultation for organizations with this requirement.

Sherri appreciates opportunities to incorporate her Christian faith into counseling individuals who are struggling with transitions. As a Medicare provider, Sherri focuses much of her work in the 50+ population and persons struggling with trauma. Her areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, addiction, chronic pain, and grief in adults. She is particularly interested in healing from traumatic experiences and life transitions.

Terri Fedorenko, MS, LMFT

SERVING THE ST. CLOUD, MN AREA — INDIVIDUALS (18+), COUPLES AND FAMILIES

Terri Fedorenko holds a Master of Science degree from St. Cloud State University and is a Licensed Marriage and family therapist. She is a wife and a mother of 5 children ranging from age 27 to 15. She has experienced pain and loss, as well as joy and success. She understands that sometimes life gets hard and people get lost, and it is her desire that no one is alone during those times. It is her belief that therapy is not a magical healing but rather, as Mary Pipher wrote, “Therapy gives clients a safe relationship in which to explore their inner world and to consider taking risks in their external one.”

Terri is a systemic therapist with an eclectic style. She seeks to meet her clients where they are at, explore with them where they would like to be, and walk with them as they overcome whatever obstacles are in the way of getting there. Terri’s experience includes successful work with couples therapy, parenting issues, blended families, women’s issues, mood disorders, child development, depression, anxiety, anger, self-esteem, grief and loss, PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, abuse, and trauma.

Terri is a Christian, which to her means that she loves God and loves people; however, in therapy, she works collaboratively with the client to establish goals that are a priority to them. Terri works with adults, couples, and families.

Camille Madsen, MSW, LICSW

SERVING THE ST. CLOUD LOCATION — FEMALE ADOLESCENTS (AGES 6 – 14), INDIVIDUALS, AND COUPLES

Camille holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

Camille works with children starting at age 10, adults and couples. She utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution focused and, person-centered therapy, enabling her to customize treatment plans that resonate with each client’s goals while taking into consideration the complex interplay of social, emotional, and environmental factors that shape our lives. Camille offers prayer and other Christian resources for those who wish to integrate their faith in therapy.

Camille has had experience in a variety of settings such as in-home, hospital, and private practice. Her goal is to build a strong therapeutic alliance and work collaboratively with clients to help them develop the skills and insights necessary to lead fulfilling lives, navigate life challenges, and build meaningful relationships.

Michael Mayhew, Ph.D., LMFT

Mick is trained, licensed, and experienced in Marital & Family Therapy (MFT), a systems approach to assessing, diagnosing, and treating hurting individuals within encumbered relationships. He earned his doctorate of philosophy in MFT from Iowa State University and Master of Science in MFT from North Dakota State University.

He has been a professor in the Master of Science degree program in Marriage and Family Therapy at St. Cloud State University since 1998. He holds licensure and Approved Supervisory status with the Minnesota Licensure Board of Marriage and Family Therapy and holds Clinical Member status with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Part of his professional focus has been in the integration of psychology and theology as well as noting how faith serves as a protective factor for families in distress.

Caleb Mohr, MA, LPCC

Caleb holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from North Dakota State University.

Caleb uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, validation, emotional exploration, and strength-based approaches to assist individuals, couples, and families to discover new and healthier ways to communicate and relate to each other.

Caleb has experience working with people who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, emotional disorders, and addictions.

Caleb loves opportunities to incorporate his Christian faith into therapy. His work finds inspiration in the hope and truth of Romans 8:28 “all things work for the good for those who love God.”

Jim Otremba, MDiv, MS, LICSW

Jim is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who holds a Master of Divinity degree from St. John’s University and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from St. Cloud State University. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Psychology.

Since 2001 Jim has owned the Center for Family Counseling, Inc. but always reminds people “God owns it; I’m just the earthly steward.” After completing training in life coaching in 2001, he has specialized in coaching other Christian business owners, Christian executives, Christian entrepreneurs, and their spouses throughout the United States and Canada. He is currently not taking new therapy clients. Jim has been married to his best friend Maureen since 1995, and they have three children on earth and seven children in heaven. Both Maureen and Jim have been part-time stay-at-home parents since 1999. Maureen and Jim enjoy presenting workshops and retreats on a variety of topics, including life balance issues, marriage, parenting, and stress and anger management.

Mike Rydberg, MA, LICSW

Mike earned a master in counseling degree from the University of North Dakota and has been a Licensed Independent Clinical social worker since 1989. He worked as an in-home family provider for 14 years and has worked for the past 13 years providing individual, family, and marriage/relationship counseling, as well as working with men court-ordered to domestic violence counseling in group and individual therapy.

Mike has experience in addressing a wide array of issues, including marriage/relationship and family issues, anger management and domestic violence, coping with anxiety and depression from a cognitive-behavioral perspective, PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and grief and loss issues. He invites clients to draw upon their faith in the power of forgiveness and the love and grace of God in seeking solutions and healing.

James Schut, PhD, Clinical Trainee

James works with individuals, couples, and families using a collaborative, strengths-based approach. He believes that people aren’t problems—rather, people experience problems for which there are solutions. He also believes every person, couple, and family have internal and external resources to achieve emotional well-being and relationship resolution. He has a PhD in applied social psychology from Vanderbilt and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University, both in Nashville, TN. He has 30 years of experience in mental health, including research…. He brings 30 years of mental health experience—including over 20 years in research and 11 years in teaching—to his clinical work. A member of the CFC counseling team since 2023, he is currently pursuing independent LMFT licensure under the supervision of Mick Mayhew, Ph.D., LMFT.

James is interested in helping people with anxiety, depression, anger, infidelity, grief, relational issues, trauma and PTSD. He will listen, help identify your greatest concerns, accompany you through sadness, anger, conflict, confusion, hurt, pain, grief, loss, or loneliness, and help you move toward joy and contentment. James helps clients work through difficult thoughts and emotions. Counseling goals are met when you experience a significant difference in your mind, body, and spirit.

James works hard to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment. Joe Zumbusch, MS, LMFT

Joe graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2010, he received his Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Joe has experience working with a wide variety of families, couples, individuals, and children. Joe has worked in a variety of settings including university and outpatient locations, as well as facilitated camps/classes for children and adolescents of divorced/separated families. His specialty areas include working with couples, individuals, and adolescents or children who need direction and guidance with issues such as marital, parenting and family conflicts, anxiety, depression, anger management, grief/loss, PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and behavioral and emotional issues.

Joe uses a systemic approach to therapy, which seeks to understand patterns of behavior within the context of the family system in which they occur. He also practices a strength based approach to therapy which means that he encourages clients to identify and utilize the strengths present within themselves and their relationships to facilitate growth and healing. Individuals, families, and couples seeking Christian counseling are supported and encouraged to find strength and hope in their relationship with God through faith.
